The Taste has traditionally been a leader in environmental event management.
The Festival uses a four-stream recycling system, ensures all stalls use biodegradable packaging, and Festival marketing material is produced locally and printed on sustainable paper stock using environmentally friendly vegetable based inks.
This year we are increasing our carbon reduction efforts through the greenhouse gas emissions offset program Climate Friendly, and the purchase of renewable carbon credits, contributing to investment in renewable energy research.
We ask all visitors to the Taste Festival to please help in assisting us to reduce our carbon footprint and run a cleaner, greener event.
