Heemskirk Melbourne to Hobart Yacht Race

In a unique format, this year’s Melbourne to Hobart includes two races, one down the east coast of Tasmania and the other down the rugged west coast, with both finishing in Hobart. Yachts will be on display on the southern side of Elizabeth Street Pier.

Clive Peeters Launceston to Hobart Yacht Race

Tasmania’s own offshore race starts from Low Head on Saturday 27 December and finishes about two days later using the same finish line as the Sydney/Hobart race. See the racing yachts on the northern side of King’s Pier.

Wrest Point King of the Derwent

The largest fleet of yachts assembled on the Derwent River. Competitors in the Sydney, Melbourne and Launceston to Hobart Yacht Races line up against locals to create a spectacle on the river.

The race is designed for maximum spectator viewing from many vantage points around the harbour or from one of the many spectator boats. The King of the Derwent is on Friday 2 January at 1pm.

2009 United Financial Series

The 2009 United Financial Series will feature divisional racing and cruising and will be a welcome addition to the Sailing calendar.
