This year’s New Year’s Eve theme is a white party. We encourage everyone to wear an item of white.

Combo la Revelacion, Australia’s best Latin American band, will bring a distinct Latin flavour with its tight brass arrangements, musical precision and full percussion section that’ll make you want to salsa till dawn.

There will be a DJ zone in the City Forecourt and street dancing along the waterfront. Sideshow Alley will provide face painting and entertainers to add spice to your night.

The skies of Hobart will come alive with light and colour with a family fireworks display in Sullivans Cove at 9.30pm and a grand fireworks display on the waterfront at midnight, promising something special for the beginning of 2009. The pyrotechnic displays will wow even the biggest of kids, with plenty of visuals, noise effects and aerial shells to impress.

DJs Mez, RBent & Bertoni bring you a mix of House, Electro, Breaks & Funky Beats.

Where not sold out tickets will be available from the Searson Buck InfoShack at the Taste Festival after 28 December.

*Ticket prices include GST and booking fee. Prices are per person except luxury tents which include up to 20 NYE entry tickets and exclusive access to the 6m x 6m tent in the city forecourt.
