This year’s Taste Festival offers something for everyone – and families with kids young and old will love the activity and excitement of Coles Kids in the Park. During the week, Parliament House Lawns – the family fun zone – will come alive with fun activities for the whole family.

The area will offer double the amount of food operators from last year, meaning that families have loads of choice on the lawns for food and refreshments.

Back again by popular demand, Kate and the crew from Making Food Fun will offer loads of cooking classes during the week, where budding little chefs can try their hand at making something simple, healthy and colourful.

Come and try a range of sporting activities, let the little one’s explore the area with play equipment, enjoy one of the many stage shows throughout the week – from Tutti Frutti’s sensational Ski Boom show, to the Incredible Travelling Flea Circus; the guys from Keshie return for another round of kids percussion workshops; and local dance groups and theatrical groups take to the stage with their great line up of entertainment for the week.

For those who just want to chill on the lawns while the kids run wild, be sure to grab one of our colourful Festival bean bags to use during the day.
