One of the most sought-after events on the Tasmanian calendar, the 2011 NYE @ The Taste celebration is set to be one wonderful waterfront party. And the sensational food and drink is only the start…

So you can really get your groove on, NYE @ The Taste will feature the melodic sounds of The Adam Cousens Band, followed by the ‘Motown Show’ by Hobart’s coolest band, Sugartrain. The Waterfront stage opens with the Wolfe Brothers’ acoustic tunes, followed by a performance from the entire Wolfe Brothers’ band (named Tasmanian band of the year) – getting everyone to their feet with the best in covers and country electric music.

For the pinnacle of the night, the skies of Hobart will be awash with colour and light during the Family Fireworks display at 9.30pm, with another spectacular display at midnight for the grown-ups to welcome in 2012 with Tasmanian bubbles.

Children 12 years and under are entitled to free General Entry (no seating), when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
