Wireless Waterfront
There will be free internet access across this year’s entire Festival site linking directly to the Taste website. This will give you instant access to stall lists, maps, and what’s on! There will also be access to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter as well as other limited internet access. The wireless network at the Taste is provided by Wireless Tasmania.
Accessibility
Hobart City Council is committed to making its festivals and events accessible to all visitors. To enquire about the facilities available, such as accessible seating and wheelchairs, please call (03) 6238 2555 during Festival operating hours.
The Taste Festival recognises the Companion Card for all ticketed events.
InfoShack
At the InfoShack you can take some time and plan your day at the Taste. Located within the City Forecourt you can find general information on the Taste Festival, including stall information and programming details. You can also book tickets for New Year’s Eve, Reserved Seating, Winery Sessions and Red Hat Tours at the InfoShack.
Visitors to Hobart will also find the InfoShack useful in providing advice, maps, guides and bookings for other Hobart and Tasmanian holiday experiences. The InfoShack is staffed by professional Tasmanian travel advisors from the Tasmanian Travel & Information Centre.
